About this page
Sledding pages are used the way sleds are: for twenty minutes, hard, and then everyone wants cocoa. That is why this one keeps the subject simple — one sled, one pair of boots, snow to colour pale blue — and why the outlines are thick enough to survive being coloured while the gloves are still on.
The runners are drawn as separate bars, so the wood can be one colour and the metal another, which is the detail children notice first on a real sled.

Questions
Is there a person on the sled?
No. An empty sled leaves room for a child to draw themselves on it - which most of them do.
What age is it for?
About 4 to 9. The shapes are large and the background is mostly white snow.
Can it be used for a bulletin board?
Yes - colour, cut around the sled, and mount it on blue paper as snow.
